About Us
Set up in 1996 by a team of professionals, Testing & Tutoring Services is specialises in providing English language services for the teaching and publishing sectors.
Testing & Tutoring focuses on “customised” language courses for companies, together with translation and editing services. We also have considerable experience in preparing didactic material for editorial publications.
Highlights of our activities:
- Testing
An important part of our activities is providing computerised testing services using systems such as BULATS (Cambridge University and ALTE), our own TEST your ENGLISH system specifically designed for companies who run language courses for their employees (initial assessment, progress testing, final results) and TOEIC (developed in the USA by Educational Testing Service). Furthermore, T&T is an official testing centre for TOEFL iBT (Princeton University and ETS).
- Tutoring
In addition to testing, we organise traditional and e-learning courses (using a combination of telephone, Internet and online platforms), as well as study trips abroad (we are agents for Embassy CES - Study Group and for Eurocentres, a leader in the sector, recognised by the Council of Europe).
- Didactic material
Alongside testing and tutoring, we produce didactic material and contents for a wide range of uses (magazines, language courses, online/offline projects, etc), working closely with publishers from the design phase to writing and recording the material.
- Consultancy
Apart from advising individual students on how to proceed with their studies (assessment, interview, choice of course, etc), we offer a consultancy service for companies and other organisations to establish their language needs. This can range from administering a “language census” (testing all employees at a given time) to advice on what type of course to choose (traditional or e-learning) and what monitoring system to adopt.
